A Tennis ball slinger had a critical component fail — no replacement existed anywhere. The customer sent us the broken original and we made a new one. The original part appears on the right in each image; our printed replacement on the left. The customer didn’t care about aesthetics — they needed it to work. It did.

A motorbike enthusiast was building a unique custom bike – eye-catching and non-standard. They needed a clear indicator cover that didn’t exist anywhere. They emailed 3dpad, we designed it from their brief and printed it in clear PLA. Exactly what they envisioned. When no manufacturer makes it, we will.

This motorhome fridge shelf clip had gone completely out of production. The customer searched everywhere – nothing. They reached out to 3dpad, we reverse-engineered it from the broken original, and the new part fits and functions perfectly. All four views are shown – front and side, original vs. print – so you can see the precision of the match.

A customer brought us a broken latch from their retractable dog lead. The original was brittle ABS with several design flaws – gluing it simply wouldn’t hold. Rather than copy the broken design, we redesigned the component entirely to address every weak point. The red arrows show exactly where the original failed. The result: a stronger, more durable part in PLA+.

A Volkswagen Polo V 6R cup holder (part 684300207R) that lets cups and bottles fall out when placed in it. The customer asked 3dpad for a custom adapter insert. We designed a solution that fits neatly inside the existing holder without limiting the size of cups or bottles — a drop-in fix, no modifications needed.

A customer wanted a performance air filter for their 2005 Toyota Corolla, but the original air filter box has a sensor and cable bracket integrated into it – standard performance filters couldn’t accommodate this. The red-highlighted image shows exactly where the problem lies. 3dpad engineered a custom solution in CAD, producing a new air filter tube that retains all sensors while improving airflow performance.

A customer with a MK2 Ford Focus wanted to upgrade to a 7″ double DIN touchscreen. Standard aftermarket fascia kits only offered basic black or faded grey — clashing with the interior. They wanted premium silver with a perfect fit. 3dpad designed and produced a custom fascia that slots in perfectly and looks factory-built. Five photos showing before, design, and finished result.
